THIS… is a 1995 Jeep Cherokee Sport 4×4, finished in green with a gray interior.
- The attached Carfax history report lists no accidents in this Jeep’s past. It also shows registrations in California and North Carolina from new.
- Factory equipment on this Cherokee includes a 2-speed transfer case, roof rails, a rear wiper, manual front windows, and air conditioning.
- Modifications reported by the seller include an OX Offroad air-actuated rear differential lock, an Eaton Detroit Truetrac limited-slip front differential, TEN Factory Chromoly front and rear axles, a 4.5-inch Rough Country lift kit, Bilstein 5100 front and rear shock absorbers, an 8,000-pound Warn M8-S 87800 winch, and more as detailed below.
- Jeep’s significantly downsized Cherokee made its debut for 1984. Called XJ internally, it ditched its predecessor’s body-on-frame layout in favor of unibody construction to offer a more comfortable ride on the pavement, though it remained exceptionally capable off-road. It was a risky bet but it paid off: the XJ nearly doubled Jeep’s retail sales in 1984 and it remained available in America until 2001.
- Power comes from a 4.0-liter inline-6, which produces 190 horsepower and 225 lb-ft of torque. Output is sent to the rear or all four wheels via a 5-speed manual transmission and a 2-speed transfer case.
